MIDLAND, Mich. – May 11, 2018 – Before releasing their latest pirate-themed wellness challenge, Yo Ho Ho, HES — world leader in workplace well-being campaigns — is giving wellness professionals the chance to test it and provide input.
“Wellness managers have a vision for the programs and features that will match their populations’ priorities, and we do our best to meet those needs in every product and service,” explains Dean Witherspoon, HES CEO and founder. “This pre-launch opportunity gives managers a voice in shaping the program to align with that vision.”
The 2-week pilot, May 14-27, is open to the public. Wellness professionals across the globe will be able to participate in Yo Ho Ho‘s maiden voyage with coworkers, friends, and family. HES encourages honest feedback, which they use to polish and enrich the campaign.
“We apply extensive research and take the utmost care to make each program an effective, easy-to-use tool for lasting behavior change,” notes Witherspoon. “It’s all about the end goal of transforming participants’ lives and outlooks. Letting wellness professionals and the public experience the campaign and suggest improvements supplies a much-needed perspective that ensures we accomplish our purpose.”
Participants will enjoy the action-packed adventure of Yo Ho Ho, building exciting animated scenes while learning about and practicing healthy habits to feel their best. It includes daily surprises along with numerous other features to enhance motivation. They’ll join the pilot between May 14 and 21, create a team, log healthy behaviors, and watch the buccaneer excitement unfold.
The program enables participants to experience health behavior progress through an immersive, inspirational storyline. The more they log healthy behaviors, the more they unlock animated scenes, the better they’ll feel, and the more chances they’ll have to win prizes like gift cards and Fitbit® devices.
“Yo Ho Ho breaks the mold of our previous programs. It’s the first live comic-style adventure to well-being. And it’s not just fun; it’s rooted in the serious science of health behavior change. Not only do our pilot participants get to make lasting behavior changes, but their input also helps us refine the campaign and ultimately help hundreds of thousands live a little healthier.”
