Meet Our 2018 Keep America Active Implementation Coordinators…

Danielle Meeder
Implementation Coordinator

A native Michigander, Danielle loves to visit and travel across the Mitten State. She’s an avid runner… and recently completed her first half-marathon in Charlevoix. Always game for fun and fitness, Danielle enjoys hiking and walking with her fox red Labrador retriever, Pandy (named after Pandemonium Pale Ale from Short’s Brewery), golfing — rain or shine — boating, and shooting hoops with her husband. This Central Michigan public health alum and craft beer connoisseur balances her on-the-go lifestyle by reading and getting lots of sleep. She’s super excited for Keep America Active, especially the mobile app: “It has all the same fun features included on the web version.”

Kaitlyn Baase
Implementation Coordinator

A fitness-walking, kayak-loving, storm-tracking fanatic, Kaitlyn is an effervescent force of nature. When she’s not delighting participants, Kaitlyn can be found hanging out with family and friends, whipping up her favorite dishes in the kitchen, or coaching her high school cheerleading team. A Ferris State graduate, Kaitlyn also loves working out, traveling, and cheering for her Bulldogs. KB, as her coworkers call her, can’t wait for Keep America Active: “Everyone’s going to love this program. It has so many cool social features that drive excitement… and inspiration.”

Kevin A. Anderson
Keep America Active 2018 Mascot

Meet Kevin A. Anderson, an Iowa native and leadership graduate who’s writing a book about his amazing adventures across America. Kevin loves to run at the crack of dawn or jog under the stars... but hates closed-toe shoes. With a major case of FOMO (fear of missing out), Kevin wants to get in on the action, sharing tips, his favorite regional recipes, and conversation with other tourists. He never tires of proclaiming his passion for America’s parks, museums, and historic sites. This hardcore shutterbug and travel blogger is full of quirky, entertaining facts.
