Participants track dedicated exercise minutes or steps, aiming for 30-60 minutes or 6000-10,000 steps a day, earning springer icons along the way:
Any combination of green, orange, or pink counts toward the Spring Into Motion goal. Participants just starting out should shoot for 5 springers a week; if they’re already active, they should aim higher. The idea is a challenging yet realistic target they can maintain for good.
Everyone can get moving this spring and experience fitness success — Spring Into Motion encourages consistency for novices and challenges even elite athletes to step up their activity.
The team competition is an optional friendly challenge that emphasizes consistency over athleticism. The group that averages the highest springer score wins (green springers = 3 point; orange springers = 4 points; pink springers = 5 points). This fun, supportive feature helps build camaraderie and motivation, as participants not only contribute to their own success, but are accountable to their team as well.
